This Minerva LAW Network event will host three leading book publishers, who will talk about their portfolio of publications and how to publish with them.
The speakers will be:
Ann-Christin Maak-Scherpe is the Publisher and General Manager at Intersentia.
Ann-Christin has been heading Intersentia’s Cambridge office since its foundation in 2010. She holds law degrees from a civil law (German State Exam, University of Hamburg) and a common law jurisdiction (LLM with first class honours from the University of Auckland). During her studies she worked for five years at the Max Planck Institute for comparative and international Private Law in Hamburg. Her academic and particularly comparative knowledge means that she is uniquely placed to work with authors of both common law and civil law backgrounds.
Sinead Moloney is the Editorial Director and General Manager.
She joined Hart Publishing in 2013 from Cambridge University Press, where she held the position of Senior Commissioning Editor, Law. She started her editorial career at LexisNexis, working on Halsbury’s Laws. Sinead is well known to law academics both within the United Kingdom and in Europe, following a program of extensive commissioning visits.
Tom Randall is a Commissioning Editor at Cambridge University Press.
He has developed a portfolio of prestigious and highly respected series alongside innovative, cutting-edge research. His primary areas of interest are public international law and related subjects, European law, human rights law, and jurisprudence and he welcomes new proposals and enquiries in these fields. He is based in Cambridge, UK, and is particularly interested to receive submissions from scholars in the UK and Europe, and collaborates closely with editors in our international offices.
